How did You find out about this Network/Resource?

I am trained Human rights Journalist and has worked with Ghana Broadcasting Corporation as a Regional Correspondent for both Radio Ghana and GTV for most eight years. It has always been my desire to work towards enhancement of human rights, good governance and poverty alleviation in my country and Africa at large. Of course, this desire influenced my decision to study Journalism and subsequently, the establishment of the Global Media Foundation which works towards poverty alleviation and eradication of all forms human rights abuse and corruption via an active and vibrant media.

GLOMEF to Establish Africa-Europe Youth Center in Ghana

Global Media Foundation, a non-profit media advocacy foundation is to establish Africa-Europe Youth Center in Ghana which intend to promote Africa-Europe youth exchanges, networking and political participation of non-state actors. The Center would provides the possibility for youth leaders, youth workers, experts and trainers to participate in youth activities and youth exchanges projects to be trained . Where There Is No Doctor

Many rural communities where Global Media Foundation operates do not have access to health services due to lack of health centres. These people are illiterate farmers and knew nothing about modern medicines. To added insult to their injury, road network leading to these communities are unmotorable during the rain season.

How  do people in these communities survivals, especially pregnant women. Maternal mortality in Ghana is high because of some of these factors.
