Daniella Ben-Attar

Daniella has worked for over 15 years on issues of youth participation and engagement with the World Bank, UN agencies, NGOs and corporations worldwide. This has been combined with extensive experience in governance, municipal capacity building, ICT for development and peacebuilding. Among her current activities, she consults for UN-HABITAT where she is developing a policy and program framework on the intersection between ICTs, urban governance and youth. She is the lead author of a UN-HABITAT global study exploring how mobile technology can be used as a tool to enhance governance outcomes for young people. This work followed several consultancies with the World Bank where she managed youth-led development, municipal capacity building, governance and e-learning programs. Daniella's experience also includes peacebuilding and development work in the Middle East and post-conflict regions, as well as consulting for telecom and technology corporations.
