In this live webinar, participants will discuss the role of social enterprise in international development, look at ways in which social enterprise currently plays in the development sector, and share ideas about how social enterprise might be better leveraged for greater impact in the future. The agenda will touch on innovative funding strategies that employ social enterprise in development, and take a closer look at the synergies and differences between emerging market-based poverty alleviation strategies and social enterprise methodology.
Social enterprise practitioner and author Kim Alter; Philippson Foundation Executive Director and social enterprise investor Anne Henricot; and seToolbelt Project Manager Lindsay Miller will moderate this engaging online discussion. Audience members will be asked to share their experiences, successes, and challenges when it comes to implementing social enterprise in a development context, and will gain access to a host of practical tools for selecting, implementing, and assessing social enterprise strategies.
