I am Pradip Pariyar Currently working as founder chairperson of Nepal Youth Forum and executive member of Association of Youth organization Nepal(Network organization of you in Nepal). I have been working in the field of youth media for the last 9 years. Starting as an anchor and then as producer for various radio programs which are being broadcasted from Radio Nepal (national state run Radio) and various other FM stations like Kantipur F.M from Kathmandu and other radio stations outside of Kathmandu. Apart from Radio, I have also worked as an Editor of a monthly magazine called "JIJIBISHA", which mainly focuses on the issues of Dalits(untouchable community and marginalized communities in Nepal. During the last 9 years I visited various places of country as well as out of the country and got opportunity to understand the culture and geographic diversity of Nepal as well abroad. As the founder chairperson of Nepal Youth Forum, I work with various youth organization, Donor communities, Government body, Association of youth Organization, youth leader and other kea stakeholders. In my professionals career I works with various media organization and kea media actors; bring them together from across diving lines, providing various capacity building training on media and peace building and facilitating the convening of the drivers of media and architects of peace process to develop communication strategies for PeaceBuilding. I have also got opportunity to be trained and subsequently work and co-facilitate with Francis Rolt, co-author of Radio for Peace building Africa and Youth Radio for PeaceBuilding. I run different youth leadership training and workshop. I involved in different research project about conflict, youth and media. I present paper in different workshop and seminar for UN Agencies, INGO as well as Government organization. I manage many of the youth, media and peace building project in international non governmental organization (INGO) as well as in youth organization.
