UNOY is looking for you! Do you have any experience with shooting photo's and do you believe that your amateur shots are good enough? Please join our contest!

To mark the International Day of Peace, the United Network of Young Peacebuilders is giving young people aged 15-30 all over the world the chance to show their contributions to peace by taking part in a photo contest. We are now asking for submissions for the contest, and all photos should answer the question: "Why do youth play an important part in peacebuilding?"

The winner will win a prize – Lomography’s most popular analogue camera: the Lomo Mini Diana.

The deadline for photo entries is on September 14, 2012 at midnight (GMT) and the winner will be announced on our Facebook page and on a live event in The Hague, the Netherlands on the International Day of Peace, September 21, 2012.

You can find us on Facebook and Twitter. Just look for "A Picture for Peace".

We are looking forward to all the great pictures!
