7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of emergency programs as well as strengthening Government's disaster risk reduction capacities at local, regional and national levels. Advanced university degree in International Humanitarian Action, with area of specialization in disaster analysis and intervention, and comprehensive knowledge of humanitarian reform, standards and accountability principles as well as policy affairs and sector coordination issues. Expertise in disaster management/disaster risk reduction (DRR); experience in the institutional capacity building and management of multi-sectoral humanitarian programs at the UN, EU and NGO levels. Geographic experience with the Caucasus (Chechnya, Georgia); Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan); India (Assam) and Yemen.

Currently also in charge of the Adolescent and Youth Development program (since July 2013) at UNICEF Georgia Country Office.
