Please share a short bio for yourself. This should be no more than 3-4 short paragraphs.
Gulalai Ismail, is a feminist and working for the empowerment of young women. I did my M.Phil in Biotechnology from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, and had studied Sociology and Anthropology as additional Subjects. At the age of 16, with other young women fellows I initiated "Aware Girls"; a young women led organization working for empowering young women by strengthening the leadership capacity of young women enabling them to work for social change and women empowerment, and advocate for equal access of women to health, education, governance, political participation, and other social services. Her Key working areas are Strengthening Leadership Skills among Young Women, Political Participation of Young Women, Economic Empowerment of Young Women, HIV/AIDS Prevention among Girls and Women, and Peace.

I started a Program on Peace for young people in the name of "Seeds of Peace" now known as Youth Network for Peace.

I am involved in providing training on peace, non-violence, tolerance and Pluralism to young people who are vulnerable to fall prey to the religious extremists and militants
