Please share a short bio for yourself. This should be no more than 3-4 short paragraphs.
Corina Simon has been with PATRIR full-time since September 2005 after finishing her BSc in Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Babes – Bolyai University, Cluj – Napoca. She coordinates the Secretariat of the Global Alliance for Ministries and Departments of Peace, an international network of individuals and organizations from 23 countries promoting the concept of Ministries for Peace and Departments of Peace in governments world-wide.
Corina is a member of the team concerning Romania’s international development cooperation policy in relation to Republic of Moldova.
She has received training in Conflict Transformation through Peaceful Means in Stadtschlaining, Austria and PATRIR, Human Rights, Gender Inequalities, Training of Trainers at PATRIR, Nonviolent Communication from Marshall Rosenberg in Budapest and Peacebuilding and Development as well as designing Peacebuilding Initiatives.

Currently, Corina is writing a thesis for the Masters Programme on Research Design and Data Analysis in Social Sciences at the Faculty of Political Science, Public Administration and Communication, Babes – Bolyai University.

Her research interests include civil society, infrastructure for peace and international development cooperation in Romania and internationally.
She is also affiliated with World Spirit Youth Council, a project of Children of the Earth in order to establish a movement bringing together spirituality, youth and activism.

Costa Rica has a Ministry of Justice and Peace since 14 September 2009. The Summit immediately followed the signature of the President Oscar Arias, Nobel Peace Prize laureat.
