I am currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Adult Education and International Comparative Education at Pennsylvania State University. I also volunteer with the Adolescents and Youth Task team at the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies. I recently completed a year as an Instructor teaching Information Technology and Mass Communication at the American University of Afghanistan. Previously, I have experience in technology in education and distance education programming at Makerere University and American University. I have also worked in peace and civic awareness educational programming in Liberia, English training in Egypt and as an educator of youth in the United States. My research interests include technology in education and non-formal educational programming for young adults in conflict affected environments.
